Motorcycles Online's Home Page
Motorcycles are a very popular vehicle from the famous motorbike gangs of America to the American screen idols like Marlon Brando who appeared in the movie The Wild One on his own Harley-Davidson. The 'Harley' began life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the early part of the twentieth century. Wisconsin is a small city in America's Midwest and is very homely. I have a Harley motorcycle in my garage and love it. They are such well made bikes and handle perfectly. I want to just put a cowboy hat and drive West to California whenever I lay eyes on it. It really represents America to me, or at least what America should be about. But now I live in the UK and do up and salvage old motor cycle parts and sell them online. I work often in association with Salvage Cars UK who set up scrapyard auctions across the nation. Seeing a scrapyard auction for one of my bikes and explaining to the new owner how to look after it feels like giving away a pet or seeing my child get married. It is hard but sometimes for the best.
I used to race motorcycles in Southern America in a place called San Antonio. Now San Antonio is a Texas border town which seperates North America from Mexico. I used to take the trip over the border to buy tequilla and eat fajitas with my friends in the back of a truck bed as it speeded along the bright sun scorched roads. The San Antonio Races were amazing. The excitement of the crowds as everyone lined up their motorcycles and raced off along the winding roads. I once had to swerve to avoid a large crocodile that had crept onto the road ahead of me. I swear it was twelve feet long. I feel from my bike and lay just meters away from its jaws before scrambling to my feet and back on my bike. My only conclusion is that he must have recently eaten a large meal or was just dazed from the sun and all the bikes zooming passed him. After that I got the nickname of 'Croc' and had a crocodile's head painted onto my helmet.
When I finally gave up motorcycle racing, I moved to the UK to be with a girl I'd fell in love with over the summer a year before. We quickly married and I began working the motorcycle and car scrapyards, helping to restore Repairable salvage cars to former glories and selling them on. I love it.

I am now spending my free time writing a motorcycle movie which I hope to shoot soon and post online for people to watch. It will be a mixture of story and great, daredevil footage of motorbike racers in Mexico. The Mexicans and the Texans are the best racers. They have a passion for speed and their lifestyle is very close to the soil.
